Requirements

  • Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds
  • Knowledge of packing materials and shipping requirements
  • Ability to follow established work schedule and procedures
  • Strong math, documentation, writing, and speaking skills
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
  • Background check results satisfactory to SEL
  • Negative drug test result(s)

  • Previous Shipping Experience
  • Experience in fork-lift truck operation

Responsibilities

  • Process shipments through multiple carriers using SEL and external business systems.
  • Meet quality and production goals in assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requested delivery methods and international export regulations.
  • Regularly communicate with Customers and Support staff to troubleshoot and resolve shipping issues.
  • Prepare shipping containers and pallets in accordance with SEL standards; schedule and coordinate pick up with carriers.
  • Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
  • Understand, Create, Simplify.
  • Other duties as assigned.
