About The Position

The Shipping Specialist ensures that orders are prepared and shipped without errors, efficiently and in a timely manner for our customers. Will perform other related duties as requested by his immediate superior, all in accordance with internal procedures and rules.

Requirements

Proficiency in spoken and written French is essential.
Having work boots would be essential.
Being able to do repetitive tasks.
Able to work in an environment where the temperature varies
To have good physical endurance, being able to regularly move the goods that are 60 lbs. and over.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or vocational training an asset.
One year experience in a similar position an asset.
Knowledge of English may be required depending on the needs of the position.
Forklift operator credentials would be an asset.

Responsibilities

Pack merchandise
Apply invoices and shipping labels on merchandise.
Collect and verify that all items and goods are included in the shipments.
Prepare shipments and shipping orders for transport companies.
Load, unload, sort and move the goods by hand or by using pallet.
At the verification station, ensure that the documents correspond to the goods.
Gather boxes of accessories from the warehouse store and ensure that they are placed with the right orders.
Attach and wrap the products for shipping
Be compliant with the standards and business procedures as well as enforcing the health and safety laws.
Ensure that work areas and equipment are kept clean and organized at all times.
