About The Position

This role is responsible for preparing and packaging parts according to customer, contract, carrier, and in-house specifications. The Shipping Rover will ensure accurate documentation, communicate with various departments for on-time shipment, and coordinate with packagers. Key tasks include scanning job orders, utilizing customer portals for shipping, and verifying the accuracy of outgoing shipments.

Requirements

Ability to prepare and perform packaging according to specifications.
Skill in identifying and packaging completed parts.
Proficiency in filing paperwork accurately.
Attention to detail in inspecting and checking paperwork for accuracy.
Ability to mark parts prior to final inspection.
Strong communication skills to work with various departments, especially scheduling.
Capability to coordinate with packagers.
Accuracy in scanning job orders into the computer.
Experience working in customer portals for shipping.
Ability to examine contents and compare with records to verify shipment accuracy.
Skill in identifying and marking completed parts per customer specifications.

Responsibilities

File paperwork in appropriate places.
Inspect and check all paperwork for accuracy prior to shipping any parts.
Mark all parts prior to final inspection.
Work with various departments, especially scheduling, to communicate schedule requirements for on-time shipment.
Coordinate with packagers.
Accurately scanning of job orders into the computer.
Work in customer portals to ship items as required by contract and customer requirements.
Examine contents and compare with records, such as invoices, to verify accuracy of outgoing shipments.
Identify and mark completed parts per customer specifications.
