About The Position

According to customer and internal specifications, the Shipping/Receiving employee packages and ships products in compliance with customer requirements and governmental regulations. The role prepares completed products and documents for outbound freight and assists with loading and packaging. Products must be handled and shipped according to proper handling techniques, customer requirements, and company and department processes and policies. The employee must also comply with TTM export-control policies and applicable laws, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC requirements.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
Ability to use computer programs to track multiple shipments.
Ability to operate a hand truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
Ability to use basic hand tools such as a utility knife, screwdriver, band cutter, and hammer.
Knowledge of special shipping requirements for carriers such as Federal Express, UPS, and Airborne International.
Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare completed products and documents for outbound freight.
Assist the shipping department with loading and packaging.
Package and ship products using proper handling techniques and following customer requirements and company and department processes and policies.
Comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and applicable laws, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC.
Identify ITAR products on the manufacturing floor and understand restrictions on access to those products and related technical data.
Recognize foreign-person visitors by badge differentiation and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities.
Understand export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the United States.
Manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
