We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to lead daily operations within our Distribution Center and help drive efficiency, accuracy, safety, and exceptional customer service. Requirements
- Associate degree in Business Logistics or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or distribution experience
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience within a warehouse environment
- Forklift certification
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Word
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Distribution Center
- Lead and develop a team of up to 25 warehouse employees, team leaders, and group leaders
- Manage outbound order fulfillment, picking, staging, and shipping activities
- Oversee inbound receiving, inspection, verification, and put-away processes
- Coordinate inventory transfers between warehouse locations
- Manage customer returns and inventory accuracy initiatives
- Supervise cycle count programs and inventory control processes
- Support e-commerce order fulfillment operations
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and customer service
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Transportation, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor department performance and proactively address operational challenges
