Proven ability to manage and supervise a team.
Performs technical responsibilities.
Contributes to the development and improvement of concepts, techniques and procedures.
Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities under established procedures.

Requires judgment or initiative in resolving issues and making recommendations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and train personnel, providing regular input to Logistics Manager regarding staffing decisions.
Ensure scheduling, preparation, proper notification and verification/ inspection of inbound and outbound material shipments and maintain product flow.
Maintaining rigid quality assurance standards.
Overseeing scrap metal process.
Inventory management.
Yard and equipment management.
Other duties as assigned
