Requirements

2-year business or technical degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or logistics operations.
Experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing or regulated environment.
Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
Knowledge of cGMP, ISO, quality systems, and compliance standards.
Understanding of Lean manufacturing and 6S principles.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to prioritize work, manage schedules, and support production demands.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Hands-on leadership style with the ability to support technical problem-solving activities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-focused mindset with strong sense of urgency and accountability.

Responsibilities

Lead daily shipping and receiving operations to support production schedules, customer deliveries, and inventory accuracy.
Supervise Shipping & Receiving Team Leads and associates to ensure operational goals, safety standards, and quality expectations are consistently met.
Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including scheduling transportation, tracking deliveries, and managing outbound orders through SAP.
Oversee receiving activities including inventory verification, goods receipt processing, and material put-away operations.
Partner cross-functionally with Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure smooth material flow and shipment execution.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse efficiency, shipping accuracy, and process optimization.
Train, coach, and support employees on SOPs, safety procedures, warehouse operations, and shipping best practices.
Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO, QMS, OSHA, and company policies and procedures.
Perform outbound freight audits to ensure accurate product shipments prior to release.
Verify product numbers and shipment quantities against packing lists and shipping documentation.
Conduct visual inspections of outbound freight to identify damage or packaging concerns before shipments leave the facility.
Maintain high standards for shipment accuracy, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
