About The Position

This management-level position oversees the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations for Tulkoff Food Products Ohio LLC in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves coordinating warehouse activities with other departments, ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising warehouse staff, maintaining accurate inventory, and managing equipment. The Shipping & Receiving Manager is responsible for suggesting procedural improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Prior experience as Shipping & Receiving Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with all related paperwork such as bill of ladings, packing slips, etc.
• Hands-on shipping experience with Fed Ex, UPS, and trucking companies, including FTL/LTL.
• Forklift certification required (must be capable of operating both a stand-up and sit-down).
• Ability to supervise small groups (no different shifts mentioned).
• Computer savvy (Microsoft and Outlook).
• Experience with Ross ERP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Work with department heads to coordinate warehouse activities, including production, purchasing, sales, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and 3rd party audits by working with QC, production, and sanitation.
• Supervise the activities of warehouse clerks engaged in shipping, storing, and receiving products and materials, including overseeing timecards in ADP, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels of finished goods, packaging materials, and ingredients.
• Review invoices, work orders, and reports.
• Report any damages or discrepancies for record-keeping purposes.
• Inspect the physical condition of the warehouse, forklifts, and other equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs, and/or replacements.
• Suggest improvements to procedures to save time and/or to reduce costs.
