About The Position

Safe operation of a forklift to effectively and efficiently load/unload trucks, stack, or move raw materials and finished goods to required departments/locations.

Responsibilities

Verify product (both shipped and received) against shipping paperwork to ensure accuracy and quality
Ensure outgoing product is secured and labelled correctly
Stage materials received in the appropriate locations
Prepare, review, and verify shipping documents (bills of lading, packing lists, labels, etc.) for accuracy and compliance.
Ensure products are packaged securely and in accordance with customer requirements and quality standards
May handle scheduling of company trucks to deliver/pick up orders, and work with 3rd party carriers to arrange shipments/deliveries.
Communicate with internal teams and customers the details and schedules of shipments, as well as any delays or issues that arise.
Support inventory control activities, including counts and audits, as required.
May be required to use computer/ERP system
May also be required to load/unload material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, shelves, etc. by hand.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures and monitor all work processes to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Other tasks as assigned.
