About The Position

Steven Label manufactures labels, overlays, membrane switches, sensors, product instructions for use (IFUs) and folding cartons — largely for the medical device industry. We provide our customers with some unique and valuable resources, including: A proprietary on-line system that permits order placement, tracking and art submission. ISO 13485 procedures to ensure quality products are delivered on time. 2 major manufacturing locations in California, 1 in Arizona and 1 in Mexico with broad capabilities including screen, flexographic, offset and digital printing. Support of Vendor Managed Inventory programs. In-house engineering expertise in the manufacture of membrane switches and medical sensors. Product Instructions for use on lightweight, pharmaceutical grade paper. A commitment to delivering world class service to customers. Requirements

  • Valid CA Drivers’ License and maintain a good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic to good computer skills
  • Experience in a shipping or warehouse environment, preferably within manufacturing.
  • Basic knowledge of shipping procedures and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with inventory management software and shipping logistics systems.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse machinery.
  • Experience working with domestic and international shipping regulations.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and package finished goods according to company and regulatory standards
  • Label shipments accurately with all necessary documentation and tracking information.
  • Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Pick up and deliver product using a company vehicle
  • Maintain detailed shipping records and update inventory management systems.
  • Inspect outgoing shipments for quality assurance and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Receive, inspect, and manage incoming materials
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identify and resolve any issues related to shipping delays, damaged goods, or documentation errors.
  • Operate a forklift and wave lift safely
  • Maintain inventory of shipping and warehouse supplies
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Perform additional duties as needed
