Requirements

  • Recent, stable work history in shipping and receiving or administrative operations.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience using an ERP system (for example, Sage) for shipping or inventory functions.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Solid organizational skills to manage documentation, inventory records, and shipping schedules.
  • Ability to perform accurate data entry related to logistics, shipping, and inventory.

  • Experience in inventory control activities such as cycle counting and reconciliation.
  • Experience in logistics, order selection, and material handling within a manufacturing or distribution setting.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage Bills of Lading (BOL) using ERP systems to support accurate and compliant shipments.
  • Perform inventory control functions, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and documentation of discrepancies.
  • Create, verify, and update pick lists to ensure order accuracy and timely shipment of customer orders.
  • Support all shipping and receiving processes with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as production, customer service, and logistics to meet customer delivery timelines.
  • Maintain organization within a high-volume shipping environment, including proper labeling, staging, and documentation of outbound and inbound materials.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and shipping standards for all outbound and inbound freight.
  • Perform accurate data entry related to shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions in ERP and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Handle basic material handling tasks related to shipping and receiving, as needed, to support workflow.
  • Provide responsive and professional customer service to internal stakeholders regarding order status, shipping details, and inventory availability.
  • Monitor daily workload and proactively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and customer demand.
  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts in shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.
