About The Position

As a Shipping Coordinator at the Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, you’ll play an essential role in the smooth operation of the property by ensuring that shipments and deliveries are handled efficiently and with the utmost care. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key in receiving, storing, and organizing products while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You’ll also have a direct impact on the overall guest experience by supporting the seamless flow of supplies and materials to the hotel’s various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately receive, inspect, and store products, ensuring their quality and proper rotation. Maintain organized storage areas to optimize efficiency.
  • Coordinate the timely delivery of products to designated areas, ensuring all items reach their destinations accurately and on schedule.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the property, noting safety hazards and potential security risks. Work to resolve or report any issues found.
  • Document, report, and follow up on safety hazards, including fire hazards, security breaches, and irregularities in operations.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure that shipping and receiving operations are aligned with hotel needs and priorities.
  • Provide exceptional service to both associates and guests while maintaining safety protocols. Escort and witness cash drops as needed.
  • Inspect doors, windows, and gates for security, ensuring restricted areas are properly secured and monitoring overall safety.
  • Assist in the development and training of staff to maintain high standards of operational excellence.
