About The Position

The Chassis Warranty Parts Coordinator / Receiving Technician / Dispatcher supports Winnebago Industries’ Chassis Warranty operations by coordinating chassis parts procurement, receiving, warranty part returns, and service bay dispatch. This role is essential to ensuring timely and accurate warranty and internal chassis repairs across Winnebago motorhome products. The position works closely with Chassis Warranty technicians, Service leadership, and OEM chassis partners to ensure proper parts flow, compliance with OEM warranty requirements, and efficient movement of units through the Chassis Warranty service bays.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in automotive, RV, fleet, or service operations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to work within service or parts systems
  • Effective communication skills and a team-focused mindset

  • Experience with Winnebago Industries, RV service, or dealership operations
  • Familiarity with OEM chassis warranty and parts ordering systems
  • Dispatch or service coordination experience in a shop environment

Responsibilities

  • Order chassis-related parts for warranty and internal repairs supporting Winnebago Industries motorhome products
  • Utilize OEM ordering systems to procure parts from: Ford Motor Company, Stellantis (RAM / ProMaster), Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC), Mercedes-Benz
  • Ensure accuracy of part numbers, quantities, and application based on VIN, chassis configuration, and repair documentation
  • Track open orders, manage backorders, and communicate status updates to Chassis Warranty technicians and leadership
  • Support warranty claim accuracy by ensuring proper parts documentation and traceability
  • Receive, inspect, and verify chassis parts upon arrival for damage, accuracy, and completeness
  • Tag, label, and stage parts to specific repair orders, units, and technicians
  • Coordinate and process OEM-required warranty part returns, including: Proper tagging and identification, Packaging and shipping per OEM guidelines, Documentation and tracking to meet return timelines and audit requirements
  • Maintain orderly and compliant parts storage areas supporting Chassis Warranty operations
  • Coordinate the flow of Winnebago units into and out of Chassis Warranty service bays
  • Partner with Chassis Warranty technicians and management to: Prioritize work, Balance technician workload, Optimize bay utilization
  • Monitor repair progress and proactively adjust scheduling to align with parts availability and repair readiness
  • Communicate unit status updates to Service leadership and cross-functional teams as needed
  • Maintain accurate records within Winnebago Industries’ service management systems, including: Repair orders, Parts usage, Warranty documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Winnebago Industries policies and OEM chassis warranty procedures
  • Serve as a liaison between parts suppliers, OEM chassis partners, technicians, and service leaders
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to reduce downtime and improve parts and dispatch efficiency
