NOVO Health Services is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator at our DuBois Healthcare Laundry facility. We are looking for someone who is confident, reliable, and timely with excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • High School, GED, or equivalent plus two years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of general arithmetic.
  • Ability to speak and write in a clear, understandable manner.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
  • A valid driver’s license with DOT physical required
  • Forklift certification is required.
  • Ability to understand detailed verbal or written instructions.
  • Ability to work from blueprints, sketches, or specifications.
  • Ability to accumulate and record data

Nice To Haves

  • CDL license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow proper procedures for receiving, verifying, and checking in goods to the warehouse and plant, including scrubs.
  • Verify divisional inventory accuracy.
  • Verifying packing slips of received goods in SAGE (or company database) and enter receipt of goods information.
  • Prepare linen for delivery to other locations and/or packages
  • Maintain a daily log of all shipments received and sent.
  • Distribute receiving to appropriate departments within plant & corporate offices.
  • Maintain supply inventory in a neat and orderly fashion, and complete weekly supply order.
  • Complete weekly chemical inventory and assist in the handling of chemicals for soil.
  • Verify that all chemicals received and stored in the healthcare facility/warehouse have the appropriate Chemical Hazard warning labels (in coordination with the Maintenance Chief).
  • Receive bulk chemical deliveries for the DuBois facility and complete chemical safety training.
  • Heavy lifting required, including all linen bales, moving of 55-gallon chemical drums, etc.
  • Maintain the inventory and condition of supplies for distribution.
  • Complete linen inventory and maintain inventory spreadsheet.
  • Maintain the organization of the storage trailers on the dock.
  • Keep the work area clean and free of garbage; dispose of empty pallets or boxes; remove bales from soil room; responsible for upkeeping the outside cage.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • Operate in a safe manner adhering to all safety policies.
  • Must be able to work frequently overtime if workload requires.
  • Performs other various job duties as may be assigned.
