About The Position

The Shipping / Receiving Clerk is responsible for shipping and receiving product at the Retail Store. This position has no direct supervisory authority and reports to the Store Manager. The role may also require helping with load outs, breaking down freight, and bringing shopping carts in, among other duties. Hourly pay is $15.00–$17.00, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise into the warehouse area.
• Cross-check quantities against packing slips and make corrections as necessary.
• Operate merchandise-handling equipment safely.
• Accurately allocate merchandise to the splitting area or department.
• Load merchandise onto the proper truck for shipment and shrink-wrap it when necessary.
• Perform general maintenance of equipment.
• Practice workplace safety by using safe work habits.
• Help with load outs, break down freight, bring shopping carts in, and perform other duties as assigned.
