About The Position

The Shipping-Receiving Clerk is responsible for shipping and receiving product at the retail store. This position has no direct supervisory authority and reports to the Store Manager. The role may also require helping with load outs, breaking down freight, bringing shopping carts in, and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate merchandise-handling equipment.
• Ability to cross-check merchandise quantities against packing slips and make necessary corrections.
• Ability to accurately allocate merchandise to the splitting area or department.
• Ability to load merchandise onto trucks and shrink-wrap shipments when necessary.
• Use safe work habits in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise into the warehouse area.
