Shipping/Receiving Clerk 1st Shift
About The Position
Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world! This role involves preparing, packaging, and processing outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and compliance with company and carrier requirements. It also includes coordinating with carriers and internal teams for timely deliveries, maintaining accurate shipping records, and entering data into warehouse management and tracking systems. Daily use of Excel and Outlook is expected for logs, communication, and scheduling. The position requires close collaboration with Operations, carriers, and internal departments to resolve shipping issues, communicate shipment status, and assist with scheduling pickups and managing shipping timelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong data entry abilities and familiarity with Excel and Outlook
- Working knowledge of shipping procedures, inventory practices, and warehouse operations
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize and schedule tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, or related fields
- Experience with warehouse management systems
Responsibilities
- Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments

- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date shipping records (packing lists, bills of lading, delivery receipts, etc.)
- Enter data into our warehouse management and tracking systems
- Use Excel and Outlook daily for logs, communication, and scheduling tasks
- Work closely with Operations, carriers, and internal departments to resolve shipping issues
- Communicate shipment status, delays, or documentation needs
- Assist with scheduling pickups and managing shipping timelines
