Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Must be able to understand and follow all established safety procedures and guidelines
- Must have reliable transportation to/from the facility
- Must be a team player and have the desire to learn
- Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the quality and accuracy of work to be done.
- Work proficiently in a team environment.
- Deliver product from holding area to appropriate location.
- Palletize orders and prepare for shipment.
- Print pick lists at appropriate times as needed.
- Process orders and create tracking labels and waybills / BOL’s.
- Enter tracking information in appropriate locations.
- Add freight costs to pick list.
- Prepare all necessary shipping labels and documents as required.
- Determine and call appropriate freight carriers with cooperation and communication from other shipping personnel.
- With assistance from customer service, research and rectify shipping discrepancies and concerns.
- Keep track of back-order shipments.
- Ensure a safe work environment.
- Assist in training, as required.
- Assist other team members when needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
