About The Position

Under moderate supervision, this role verifies and keeps records on outgoing material. Performs tasks to ship, pick, store, load, and pack materials as needed. The shift for this position is Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Requirements

• A thorough knowledge of material handling is required.
• Must be able to pass a basic math test.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the operation of forklifts, pallet trucks and electric hoists are preferred.
• Skills may be gained through on-the-job training and/or specialized training.

Responsibilities

• Picks material for parts orders.
• Verifies identification of part and quantity required.
• Packs material for safe shipment to customers.
• Operates forklifts, hydraulic hand pallet trucks, and electric hoists to load and unload materials as needed.
• Prepares all necessary paperwork and documentation for the processing of work orders and the shipment of parts orders.
• Develops and maintains a good working relationship with all internal departments and with all outside suppliers and service providers.
• Cycle counts inventory as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
