About The Position
As a Shipping & Receiving Athlete I, you will create pallet IDs and pallet locations and perform shipping and receiving tasks in a comfortable, climate-controlled environment where safety is a top priority. The position is at the Centerpointe Facility, 3461 E Raines Road, Memphis, TN 38115, and works Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Starting pay is $19.40 per hour. Nike distribution centers offer onsite gyms, and employees receive up to 50% off retail Nike products after joining the company.
Requirements
- Entry-level position; no prior warehouse experience is required.
- Read and understand detailed work instructions to complete daily tasks while prioritizing safety.
- Be capable of working with RF devices.
- Load, unload, and move heavy boxes and packages weighing up to 50 lbs., with reasonable accommodation if needed.
- Fulfill the physical requirements of the position, including the ability to twist, bend, squat, and reach.
Responsibilities
- Accept cartons from the conveyor and sort and segment cartons or boxes onto pallets using RF devices.
- Confirm pallets are complete, close them out, and move completed pallets to the staging area for shrink wrapping and storage.
- Check pallets for carton-count accuracy, shrink-wrap pallets, and place them in the pre-staging area.
- Fluid-load cartons from the conveyor and/or pallets onto trucks.
