About The Position

Maintains efficient handling and accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments related to warehouse operations. Processes domestic and international shipments, prepares export documentation, receives and inspects incoming freight, and manages shipment damage and shortage claims. The role also handles warehouse supplies and other duties as required within the warehouse.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of carriers, shipping methods, and handling procedures.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Computer familiarity.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to use various types of material handling equipment.
• Ability to communicate with carriers, customers, and customer service to resolve problems.
• Ability to use time efficiently while managing daily shipments, consolidations, and time-sensitive activities.

Responsibilities

• Process outgoing domestic shipments using UPS, FedEx, and freight-carrier portals or manual bills of lading.
• Process weekly consolidated shipments to distributors, including shipments through distributors’ logistics portals.
• Process outgoing international export shipments through international carriers and online portals.
• Complete export commercial invoices and ensure export paperwork is accurate and complete.
• Unload incoming bi-weekly containers from Hong Kong and shipments from domestic suppliers.
• Process incoming purchase orders for warehouse supplies and stock and scan items into stock locations.
• Unload incoming freight and verify products are free of damage.
• Handle incoming freight damage and shortages and file claims with carriers.
• Perform other duties as required within the warehouse.
• Communicate with carriers, customers, and customer service to resolve problems.
• Manage time efficiently to handle daily shipments, consolidations, and other activities according to freight-carrier timelines and pickup schedules.
