About The Position

As a Shipping-Receiving Associate, you are responsible for receiving, gathering, assembling, packing, and shipping products created and/or provided to support the company’s sales growth efforts. The role involves completing material request orders and preparing freight and parcel shipments from beginning to end.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
• Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment and interface frequently with a variety of individuals or groups.
• Ability to work with limited direction and supervision while demonstrating good judgment and strict confidence.
• Ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures, and related materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, or to use controls, tools, or equipment.
• May need to use a keyboard and other office equipment.
• May need close vision.
• May need to perform concentrated work for extended periods.
• May need to lift, carry, or exert items or objects of reasonable weight.
• May need to perform duties beyond standard business hours.

Responsibilities

• Receive, understand, and complete material request orders.
• Read and/or understand verbal instructions for assembling, packing, and shipping standard products.
• Gather products manually or by device and set up fulfillment production workstations.
• Practice and promote department safety.
• Prepare freight and parcel shipments from beginning to end.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
