About The Position

The Shipping-Receiving Associate receives, gathers, assembles, packs, and ships products created or provided to support the company’s sales growth efforts. The role handles material request orders and prepares freight and parcel shipments from beginning to end, while promoting department safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
• Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment and interface frequently with a variety of individuals or groups.
• Ability to work with limited direction and supervision while demonstrating good judgment and strict confidence.
• Ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures, and related materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong customer service skills.
• Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Receive, understand, and complete material request orders.
• Read and/or understand verbal instructions for assembling, packing, and shipping standard products.
• Gather products manually or with a device and set up fulfillment production workstations.
• Practice and promote department safety.
• Prepare freight and parcel shipments from beginning to end.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
