We have an immediate full-time opening for a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our Warehouse Department in Portland, PA. This position requires previous trailer loading and unloading experience, but are supported by a team that will train you to perform in our unique environment.

Requirements

• Previous trailer loading and unloading experience
• Self-starter mindset
• Willing to learn
• Strong work ethic - dependable and demonstrate good attendance
• Able to work Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Able to meet the physical qualifications for this position which include: Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, Standing for an extended period of time, Lift, throw, bend, squat, twist, and reach, Working in both hot and cold conditions
• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship
• Need to be able to read, write and understand English
• Basic computer knowledge is a plus
• Positive attitude and be willing to assist others when needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw material and finished goods trailers
• Operate sit-down forklift to move materials around the production floor
• Ensure incoming materials and finished materials are correctly labeled and documented (scanned) in the inventory
• Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintains organization of raw and finished materials in a manner that best meets the needs of the floor
• Identifies busted parcels, and brings them to production for processing, or repackages for shipping as necessary
• Help to scale trucks in and out after hours when needed
• Responsible for executing all safety protocols - safety is critical to everyone's success.
