About The Position

This is a unique opportunity to help grow our warehouse department! We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and hard-working individual to join our warehouse team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and passionate about warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and ensuring products move efficiently through the receiving, storage, and shipping process. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our daily logistics operations by receiving incoming materials, maintaining organized inventory, and preparing customer orders for shipment. While the primary focus is shipping and receiving, you will also provide support to production and product assembly activities as needed to help meet customer demand and business objectives. You will work closely with team members across warehouse and production functions to ensure operational success. We are a leading provider of wireless, mesh-networked, "Internet of Things" (IoT) sensors for industrial environments. Our cost-effective, plug-and-play products empower plants of all sizes to conduct predictive and preventative maintenance on mission-critical and secondary equipment in order to maximize uptime.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Shipping/Receiving
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Competent computer skills with the ability to learn shipping software
  • Flexibility to adapt to last minute changes
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Proficient in Google Workspace
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to be trained and work in multiple roles within warehouse/production operations
  • This position requires the completion of a thorough background check

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments; verify quantities and documentation
  • Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time
  • Coordinate outbound shipments using shipping software and carrier systems
  • Receiving, processing, and storing incoming stock
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and product locations
  • Keeping the warehouse clean and organized, sorting recyclables, and managing the layout to optimize space and efficiency
  • Entering corrections and updates into inventory management systems as needed
  • Assist with production of sensor technology products, including small electronics and components for the Waites system
  • Inspecting products for defects and damages before shipping, ensuring that all items meet quality standards
  • Deliver exceptional service internally and externally
