About The Position

Value Added Distributors is looking for a driven, hardworking, and enthusiastic Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team in Redgranite, WI. This position reports to the Branch Manager and supports daily shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations. For 30 years, Value Added Distributors and our family of companies, including Bent Tubes, Transmotion, LTL Supply, and Value Added Distributors, have been leading providers of hydraulic components and wire harnesses in the industrial marketplace. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
Ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build positive working relationships and communicate effectively with team members.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
Experience entering data into computer systems.
Ability to use and read tape measures and digital calipers.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective time management skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
Previous knowledge of hydraulic components is a plus.
Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Stock incoming products onto warehouse shelves.
Pick and pull customer orders with a high degree of accuracy.
Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, Spee-Dee, and LTL freight providers.
Complete data entry and maintain accurate records within company systems.
Break down skids and organize incoming shipments.
Assist with inventory control and product flow to the production floor.
Deliver products to the proper inventory location, department, or personnel.
Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment (training provided).
Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Cross-train in multiple areas of the business as needed.
Support the VAC vision, mission, and values by aligning daily performance with company objectives.
Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business and regulatory requirements.
