About The Position

Schaeffler is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Associate II to handle warehouse shipping, receiving, storage, order preparation, internal transportation, and related documentation. The associate will track products and transports in the IT system and follow safety and production rules, including proper use of personal protective equipment. The role is identified as First Shift at Cheraw 2. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
Good visual acuity.
Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required.
Ability to operate transportation machinery.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

First experience in logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
First experience working with IT and SAP systems.
Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Execute loading and unloading of goods and manage the respective documentation.
Prepare deliveries of products and tours for drivers.
Store packages and prepacked products in the warehouse.
Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve, and execute internal transports.
Pick, pack, and label different goods, including raw materials, components, semi-finished products, finished products, and trading goods.
Track and oversee products and transports in the IT system.
Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
