About The Position

Sika is looking for an experienced Shipping Operator to support our shipping and receiving operations for our Brighton, CO site. In this role, you’ll handle finished goods, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. You’ll work under the guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager while playing a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Minimum 6 months of forklift operating experience
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification through company training
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail in inventory and documentation tasks
  • Effective communication with team members and supervisors
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Basic computer/device skills for RF scanning systems

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently
  • Frequent walking and movement throughout the warehouse
  • Capability to push, pull, and maneuver materials consistently
  • Ability to carry and transport packages safely
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
  • Use of hands and arms for handling, positioning, and securing products
  • Ability to communicate clearly in a warehouse environment
  • Strong coordination for operating machinery and equipment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active setting

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Pick, pull, and prepare customer orders using shipping pick lists
  • Load and unload trucks with accuracy and care
  • Organize, stack, wrap, and stage products for outbound shipments
  • Receive inbound materials and store them in proper warehouse locations
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies
  • Verify shipments against Bills of Lading and report any issues promptly
  • Use RF scanners to track inventory and maintain system accuracy
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
