About The Position

The Shipping/Receiving Operator supports warehouse and distribution operations by handling inbound and outbound materials accurately, safely, and on time. This role ensures products and materials are received, staged, documented, and shipped in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The position plays a key role in customer service, inventory accuracy, and efficient warehouse operations.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Experience using SAP or a comparable inventory or warehouse management system.
Ability to operate forklifts safely, including both standing and seated equipment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately verify documentation and materials.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds in a warehouse environment.

Nice To Haves

Logistics, shipping, or warehouse experience involving scheduling or transportation coordination.
Certification or experience with DOT, IATA, and IMDG shipping requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data entry tasks.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and adapting to flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

Receive, stage, load, and ship raw materials, finished goods, and packaging in accordance with shipping and safety procedures.
Verify orders, labels, certifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance prior to shipment.
Perform SAP transactions related to receiving, inventory movement, and shipping activities.
Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, and maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, annual inventories, relabeling, repackaging, and continuous improvement initiatives.
