We boldly go. The general material process may require the employee to work at any station during the workday dependent on staffing and production demands. All employees may be expected to rotate to different areas, or they may be required to work in a specific area depending on experience, training, and skill level to perform work tasks.

Requirements

  • Good verbal communication and excellent analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Detail oriented, organized, ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and demonstrate a positive work attitude.
  • Must have the ability to keep up with high volume in a fast-moving environment.
  • Must have the ability to lift 35 lbs., as requested.
  • Must be PIV certified.
  • Ability to read and write English for assembly directions, Work Order packets and safety instructions.
  • Completion of basic Forklift Training and Safety Orientation.
  • 3 – 6 months of material handling experience
  • Must have strong computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Yard Tractor and/or Straddle Crane or comparable heavy machine operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible receiving, checking in and processing freight.
  • Responsible for delivering freight to warehouses or usage/storage areas and making transactions in the system.
  • Follow 5S standards for area.
  • Responsible for movement of finished chillers from production areas to storage areas in the yard and entering data into the systems.
  • May need to work in outdoor environment for extended periods of time.
