About The Position
As a Shipping Lumper, your primary responsibility will be to assist in loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring efficient and accurate movement of goods. You will work closely with the warehouse staff and logistics team to maintain a smooth workflow and meet shipping deadlines. The ideal candidate should have physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 1 year of warehouse experience is preferred.
- Able to operate electric pallet jack or standing forklift.
- Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Ensure all transports are prepared in a timely manner.
- Consolidate onsite merchandise for the same customer order from different small bulk pallets if needed.
- Follow safety codes and conduct.
- Keep the loading dock and area clean.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
