About The Position

This role oversees and monitors quality shipment, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency. The Shipping Lead is responsible for organizing all outgoing shipments, planning routes, and processing shipments for on-time delivery. This position also involves tackling and resolving any issues or complaints that may arise, mentoring, coaching, and training the shipping team, and keeping track of productivity, accuracy, and timeline targets. The Shipping Lead must work in conformity with Advance Display policies and procedures, resolve delivery inconsistencies or delays, and monitor to ensure proper supply levels are maintained. This role is accountable for all shipping activities and for developing an environment that fosters open and positive team communication by setting expectations and communicating the company’s goals and values. The Shipping Lead will also handle inquiries or order issues related to shipping or transportation matters and ensure that shipping documents are well kept, updated, and in compliance with AD policies and procedures. Additionally, this role involves examining, identifying, planning, and managing special logistics and warehousing processes or operations to ensure accurate and on-time shipments, collaborating with other departments to align shipping schedules with production timelines, driving team culture by living company core values, and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certifications (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) preferred.

  • Experience working in a Warehouse or distribution facility
  • Shipping experience in a similar role
