About The Position

We are now hiring for a Full-Time Shipping Lead (2nd Shift) for our rapidly expanding Electrical Supplies business. This position will be located at our Kirkwood, NY branch. Schedule: Monday - Friday from 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break. Assists with the daily tasks assigned by the Shipping Supervisor including but not limited to picking, checking, verifying orders, loading trucks, and putting stock away by performing the following duties. Responsible for training all new employees on basic job functions within the Shipping Department. This person will be the first line of communication between staff and the Shipping Supervisor on any issues that need to be addressed. Audits other associates’ orders to verify accuracy and routing. Addresses inaccuracies or errors when required. Responds/assists other associates with inventory discrepancies, locating product or supplies, and inquiries. Point of contact for and assumes department responsibilities in absence of supervisor/manager. Leads other associates in basic warehouse maintenance including cleaning and restocking inventory and supplies. Position will also encompass all of the essential duties and responsibilities of the Shipping Associate position (per job description).
