About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordinating the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to team members and carried out in a timely and accurate manner. This role will also monitor all equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and notify the Supervisor of any needed maintenance, while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

Candidates with 6 or more attendance points and/or any suspension in the past 12 months will not be considered.
Must be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
Must be able to read, write, and interpret general equipment safety procedures to ensure safety.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Lifting between 40 and 109 pounds.
Performing overhead lifting.
Knowledge of the WMS system.
Willing to work in extreme cold or hot environments (33°F to 100°F), as well as dry conditions.
Able to work above shoulder level and walk or stand for 8–12 hours per day on concrete floors or grating.
Willing to work in areas up to five stories high with open-grade flooring where ground level is visible.
