About The Position
CVS Health is seeking Shipping Handlers for its Mail Order Pharmacy team. The role supports the packing and shipping of prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures. Handlers are cross-trained across packing, sorting, metering, stocking, and equipment-operator functions to help ensure timely delivery of specialty medications to patients. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, for 40 anticipated weekly hours.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to reach, twist, turn, bend, stoop, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime or an extended work week when necessary.
- Minimal travel as needed.
- Verifiable high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Nice To Haves
- Prior warehouse experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with SAP systems or similar inventory/order management software.
- Previous experience working in a Mail Order Pharmacy or healthcare distribution setting.
Responsibilities
- Pack and ship prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Perform cold, regular, single-vial, bulk, and DOT packing.
- Handle Eurosort, Groomer, sack metering, Gaylord, and box-maker operator functions.
- Perform cold-pack, regular-pack, and DASS metering.
- Manage cold-pack supplies and cold stocking.
- Support timely delivery of specialty medications.
