Shipping - Forklift Operator 2
About The Position
As a Shipping / Warehouse Forklift Operator you will drive a forklift truck equipped with lifting devices such as fork, clamp, or trailer hitch to push, lift, stack, tier or remove material. You will also drive a Manual Tugger or VNA Crane as needed. You will load or unload product from trucks and railcars using Forklift or Roll Clamp. You will follow all lift truck safety guidelines and perform safety checks on lift trucks. Additionally, you will use a computer to utilize the internal company COMN and Load Tracking Systems and perform daily housekeeping tasks in your work area.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and retain Forklift Operator License through Lakeside Book Company.
- Must be willing to work daily/weekly overtime as needed.
- Must pass pre-employment Drug Screen and Background (external candidates).
Nice To Haves
- Prior Forklift or Roll Clamp experience preferred.
