Shipping - Forklift Operator 2
About The Position
This role is for a Shipping / Warehouse Forklift Operator responsible for driving a forklift truck equipped with lifting devices to move, lift, stack, tier, or remove material. The operator will also drive a Manual Tugger or VNA Crane as needed, and load or unload product from trucks and railcars using a Forklift or Roll Clamp. The position requires adherence to all lift truck safety guidelines, performing safety checks on lift trucks, and using a computer for internal company systems like COMN and Load Tracking Systems. Daily housekeeping tasks in the work area are also part of the responsibilities.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and retain Forklift Operator License through Lakeside Book Company.
- Must be willing to work daily/weekly overtime as needed.
- Must pass pre-employment Drug Screen and Background (external candidates).
Nice To Haves
- Prior Forklift or Roll Clamp experience preferred.
Responsibilities

- Use a computer to utilize the internal company COMN and Load Tracking Systems.
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks in work area.
