This position requires the oversight of the daily Shipping Dock Operations. The individual must be able to complete all functions related to the Safe Handling and Security of Finished Goods and Pass-Through products to NAMI Customers. This role involves controlling documentation by maintaining accurate shipping records and receiving paperwork, ensuring the accuracy of all documentation for Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) prior to submitting to SCM and Accounting. The operator will manage time and resources using company tools to maximize productivity and accomplish tasks on time. They will keep management informed by participating in meetings and reporting problems verbally or in writing. The role upholds standards of quality, cost, and safety by following company standards and guidelines, and immediately reporting any conditions that do not uphold these standards to supervisors or management, while also making suggestions for improvements. The Shipping Dock Operator contributes to the team effort by achieving individual goals, being flexible in work assignments, covering for other staff as needed, accomplishing related tasks when requested, being open to feedback, and using feedback to improve performance. Professionalism is maintained through conduct and appearance, recognizing limitations, seeking assistance when needed, and using established communication channels. The role also assists the Manager and Supervisor with other duties as assigned, ensures all employees follow correct procedures for Final Packaging Process Standards, and assists in maintaining the 5S appearance of the NAMI 1 and NAMI II facilities.
