The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator will properly pick, pack, ship and receive product, mainly accessories but not limited to. Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse environment
  • Lift truck (forklift) experience, a valid forklift license required
  • Ability to work independently, and multi-task

Nice To Haves

  • Computer knowledge, experience with MS Word/Office/Excel, and an inventory system (SAP or other ERP) an asset

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and package products in containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding if required
  • Load and coordinate outgoing shipments, process and print bills of lading/paperwork
  • Unload incoming shipments and receive goods in SAP, ensuring proper documentation (stamped, labeled) and storage of the product
  • Stamp, &/or label identifying information and shipping instructions onto boxes, reels or containers and ensure proper documentation for shipments
  • Route items to appropriate departments if required
  • Assist with inventory control; provide weekly, monthly and yearly cycle count for inventory
  • Examine outgoing shipments for any product defects
  • Prepare shipping documents in SAP, assist to coordinate trucks and shipments
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area, warehouse and yard space
  • Follow all safety requirements, abiding by all policies and procedures at Dura-Line
