About The Position

The Shipping Coordinator role handles shipping requirements for the plant including coordinating drivers, deliveries, and pickups. You will work closely with the shipping attendants and production scheduler to understand production timeframes to coordinate external shipping, effectively manage expectations, and OTD. Requirements

• At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or distribution environment.
• Basic computer skills and experience with MRP/ERP systems.
• Knowledge of warehouse systems, including shipping and receiving, FIFO, cycle counting, and inventory control.
• SAP or Oracle experience highly preferred
• Forklift experience required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outgoing shipments, including processing and printing bills of lading and related paperwork.
• Receive goods in SAP with appropriate documentation and storage.
• Maintain a neat work area and shipping yard in accordance with 5S+2 standards.
• Additional duties as required by management
