About The Position

The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for managing all outgoing shipments, coordinating with logistics partners, and ensuring accurate processing of orders. This role also involves assisting with inventory verification and potentially training new employees. The position operates in a normal office/warehouse environment and requires adherence to safety policies.

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Proficient in all Office 365 applications.
• Communication and organizational skills required.
• Ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
• Collaboration; Teamwork Orientation.
• Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Perform all outgoing shipping tasks, including packaging, labels, and waybills.
• Coordinating with courier/freight companies to schedule shipment pickups.
• Communicate with sales personnel regarding orders shipped.
• Process incoming work orders.
• Assist with inventory verification as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Provide on the job training to new employees as needed.
• Follow all safety and health policies and procedures issued by the company.
