About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a 1st Shift Shipping Coordinator - RDC at our new facility in Youngsville, NC. The hourly rate for this position is $20 per hour. Core hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm. Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division is currently seeking a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to join our team in Youngsville, North Carolina at our RDC facility. The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator will enter data for shipping/receiving order and work with internal and external customers to resolve issues related to invoicing shipping and on hand counts in the warehouse. Requirements

One year of experience in logistics or warehouse environment.
High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Ability to follow procedures and written instructions.
Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures.
Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and bend frequently.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience using SAP.
Previous experience with forklifts.
Basic working knowledge and experience with computers.

Responsibilities

Enter data for shipping/receiving orders.
Work with internal and external customers to resolve issues related to invoicing, shipping, and on-hand counts in the warehouse.
Ensure the accuracy of transaction documents of incoming/outgoing material.
Evaluate shipments for adherence to all state, federal and global restrictions.
Serve as a resource manager system (SAP) expert on the team.
Schedule transportation for truckload and less than truckload shipments.
Assist the department in loading/unloading of trucks, scanning and tagging as needed.
Adhere to environmental, health, safety rules and regulations.
Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
Use the principles of 5S+ to ensure a clean and organized work area.
Other tasks as assigned.
