About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Shipping Coordinator - Raw Materials - 2nd shift - RDC at our new facility on Innovation Loop in Youngsville, NC. The pay rate for this position is $20.00 + shift differential per hour. Core hours are 2:30pm - 11:00pm.

Requirements

One year of experience in logistics or warehouse environment.
High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Ability to follow procedures and written instructions.
Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures.
Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and bend frequently.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience using SAP.
Previous experience with forklifts.
Basic working knowledge and experience with computers.

Responsibilities

Enter data for shipping/receiving orders.
Work with internal and external customers to resolve issues related to invoicing, shipping, and on-hand counts in the warehouse.
Ensure the accuracy of transaction documents of incoming/outgoing material.
Evaluate shipments for adherence to all state, federal, and global restrictions.
Serve as a resource manager system (SAP) expert on the team.
Schedule transportation for truckload and less than truckload shipments.
Assist the department in loading/unloading of trucks, scanning, and tagging as needed.
Adhere to environmental, health, and safety rules and regulations.
Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
Use the principles of 5S+ to ensure a clean and organized work area.
Other tasks as assigned.
