About The Position

Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, is a leader in power distribution and protection systems. We specialize in customized, turn-key solutions for sophisticated relay and control panels, medium voltage switchgear, and enclosures. The Materials Coordinator, located in Dallas, Texas, will support our production teams by coordinating and expediting the flow of materials to ensure production schedules and deadlines are met. This role reports to the Planning Supervisor and operates on a Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM shift.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience working in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting required
1+ years’ experience in planning, customer service, production, inventory, logistics or expediting
Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with MRP/ERP Systems preferred
Able to type 120 WPM preferred
Bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Buyers and Planners to ensure material needs of production are met.
Follow up with vendors and buyers regarding lead times for materials and obtain tracking information; coordinate delivery dates, as needed.
Follow up on any items showing short by working with purchasing and engineering to get a resolution in place.
Update the status of the materials and ETAs in the ERP system.
Notify appropriate internal teams (project managers, production managers, etc.) of any issues and material shortages that could potentially affect production.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
