About The Position
Smiths Interconnect, a Molex company, has a current opening for a Shipping Coordinator at our Kansas City, Missouri location. This role is responsible for the day-to-day packing, shipping, and receiving activities, as well as maintaining shipping and receiving records.
Requirements
- Experience working in Shipping and Receiving in a Manufacturing Environment
- Previous experience shipping both domestic and international required.
- Experience generating customs/compliance documents.

Responsibilities
- Prepare shipments, checking items for accuracy and ensuring no damage prior to packaging.
- Package, label, and complete all necessary paperwork associated with shipments.
- Make arrangements for shipment pick-up and delivery.
- Process shipments in the system and work with UPS/FedEx manager online.
- Handle receiving activities, verifying accuracy of items received (part/PO number, quantity, etc.) and processing receipts in the system.
- Assist with other warehouse activities during downtime as directed by a supervisor.
- Interact with multiple departments in a professional manner.
