About The Position

As a Shipping Coordinator, you’ll be part of our Allentown, PA team working as an onsite employee. You’ll work closely with the shipping team, customer service, production, and other support departments to ensure product is delivered on time and efficiently to the customer. You will also work with carriers, freight forwarders, custom brokers, and international distributors to plan and execute shipments in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner. This role involves processing all international documentation for import & export shipments, which may include, but is not limited to, commercial invoice, shippers export declaration, certificate of origin, and shippers’ letter of instruction to meet all applicable federal and international laws. Responsibilities also include load planning, selecting carriers based on established practices, keeping internal customers informed of shipment status, and providing timely responses to shipment inquiries. Additionally, you will file and maintain records related to inventory, shipments, or other departmental needs, maintain reports as requested, and prepare and enter bill of lading manifests and shipping documents for domestic and international shipments. Warehouse operations responsibilities include cycle counting, inventory control projects, and day-to-day operations. You will identify, communicate, and solve problems found within the supply chain between production and end customer, and audit shipments and related documents for accuracy.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic mathematical abilities (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Maneuver fluently between different computer systems
  • Follow corporate transportation guidelines
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities
