About The Position
The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for managing the receiving and shipping of pipe and materials, maintaining inventory, ordering parts, and coordinating with truck drivers and internal teams. This role requires adherence to company and HSE policies, maintaining a clean workspace, and performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in shipping or logistics preferred
- Proficiency in inventory management systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with HSE procedures
Nice To Haves
- Experience with NOV Company systems
- Forklift operation certification
Responsibilities
- Receive loads of pipe and materials.
- Keep inventory up to date.
- Order parts.
- Receive /sign in/ register truck drivers.
- Ship pipe and materials to customers.
- Communicate with management, supervisors, forklift drivers and admins.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.
- Maintain cleanliness of work station and surrounding areas.
- Perform all other duties as directed by Supervisor.
