About The Position
The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for managing the receiving and shipping of pipe and materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, ordering parts, coordinating with truck drivers, and ensuring compliance with company procedures. This role involves communication with various internal teams and external drivers, as well as maintaining a clean work environment. Additional duties may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- Experience in shipping and receiving.
- Inventory management skills.
- Ability to order parts.
- Proficiency in communicating with diverse teams (management, supervisors, forklift drivers, admins).
- Knowledge of company and HSE procedures and policies.
- Ability to maintain a clean work station and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Receive loads of pipe and materials.
- Keep inventory up to date.
- Order parts.
- Receive /sign in/ register truck drivers.
- Ship pipe and materials to customers.
- Communicate with management, supervisors, forklift drivers and admins.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.
- Maintain cleanliness of work station and surrounding areas.
- Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.
