About The Position

The Shipping Coordinator II supports the Warehouse by maintaining company agreed upon metrics to track on time shipments and shipping errors and cycle count effectiveness. This role does not have supervisory responsibilities. The Shipping Coordinator II will coordinate daily warehouse and shipping operations to ensure on-time order fulfillment, manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and carrier scheduling, and maintain accurate inventory records and resolve inventory discrepancies. They will prepare shipping paperwork, packing slips, bills of lading, and customer documentation, and communicate with carriers, vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding shipment status. The role involves monitoring order priorities and coordinating workflow to meet customer deadlines, using ERP and shipping systems to track inventory, shipments, and order updates, and assisting with warehouse organization, inventory counts, and material movement. Additionally, the Shipping Coordinator II will troubleshoot shipping and order issues to minimize delays and improve accuracy, project a positive and professional image, and maintain files, databases, and archives of relevant records. Other tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Two years of experience in warehouse and shipping operations
  • Excellent organizational skills

Responsibilities
