About The Position
This position is for a Shipping Clerk on the 3rd shift. The role involves following safety and environmental procedures, maintaining punctuality, and utilizing communication skills. Key responsibilities include examining materials for quality, using computer systems for inventory management, and operating a forklift for loading, unloading, and moving parts. Basic equipment inspections and battery changes for the forklift are also part of the duties, along with executing the scheduling board.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to operate forklift, change battery
- Proficient and basic math and computer skills
Responsibilities
- Follow safety and environmental procedures
- Come to work every day, on time as scheduled
- Examine material to ensure it meets standards and specifications to verify product quality
- Use computer, printer, and hand held scanner to enter part information/inventory in ERP system
- Load, un load and move parts using forklift
- Perform basic inspections on equipment such as forklift to ensure it is safe
- Change battery in forklift as needed
- Execute scheduling board
